About our Reformer Pilates Classes
FOUNDATIONS
Reformer Foundations is the perfect place to start if you’re new to Pilates, returning after a break, or wanting to build confidence in a slower-paced class. We’ll focus on learning the Reformer equipment, understanding spring tension, and mastering foundational Pilates movements with plenty of guidance and options.
Expect clear cueing, a supportive atmosphere, and time to move with control and intention. This class builds strong technique, body awareness, and a solid core foundation you’ll use in every Reformer class going forward.
Suitable for: beginners, those easing back into movement, or anyone wanting to refine the basics.
ADVANCED
Reformer Advanced is our most challenging offering, designed for experienced clients who are strong, confident, and technically proficient. Expect advanced exercises, creative programming, minimal breakdown, and high demands on strength, control, and concentration.
This class is dynamic, powerful, and deeply rewarding — best enjoyed when you already have a strong Pilates practice and full familiarity with the Reformer.
Suitable for advanced practitioners only. Prior Reformer experience essential.
ESSENTIALS
Reformer Essentials bridges the gap between beginner and intermediate. You’ll build strength, stability, and flow while continuing to refine technique and alignment. Classes move at a steady pace, layering progressions while always offering modifications.
This is where confidence grows, movement becomes smoother, and you start to feel stronger from head to toe. A great choice if you’re comfortable with the fundamentals and ready to be gently challenged.
Suitable for: students with some Reformer experience or those ready to progress beyond Foundations.
We ask that you have taken at least four Foundations classes if you are new to Reformer
CARDIOTRAMP
This dynamic class combines beginner to intermediate Reformer Pilates with cardio and strength using the Cardio-Tramp. Expect flowing sequences, low-impact jumps, and exercises designed to boost endurance, power, and coordination, all while staying connected to your breath and alignment.
Prerequisite: Students are strongly advised to have attended our Essentials Reformer classes before joining Cardio-Tramp, to ensure familiarity with the Reformer, spring settings, and foundational movement patterns.
DYNAMIC
Reformer Dynamic is a stronger, faster-paced class designed to challenge coordination, stamina, and control. Expect more complex sequences, longer flow sections, and increased load and intensity while maintaining precision and form.
This class is energising, athletic, and creative — perfect for those who enjoy moving continuously and being pushed both physically and mentally.
Suitable for: confident Reformer clients with good body awareness and experience in Essentials or equivalent classes.
STRETCH
Take a slower, more mindful approach to your Pilates practice with our Reformer Stretch class. Using the Pilates Reformer, this class focuses on lengthening, mobility, and gentle strength, giving your body space to release tension and unwind after a busy day or a more intense workout.
Through carefully guided exercises, you’ll explore deep stretching, controlled movements, and breath-focused alignment, helping to improve flexibility, joint mobility, and overall body awareness.
