Terms and Conditions for Room Hire
Bookings & Cancellations
All room hire bookings will be confirmed by email from Humankind. Verbal bookings will only be classed as provisional until the Hirer has received confirmation from Humankind by email.
Upon receipt of confirmation email from Humankind the Hirer agrees to all terms and conditions unless a response is received from the Hirer to Humankind by email within 24 hours.
The Hirer will be held responsible for any damages or loss of furniture, equipment or props. The Hirer shall pay Humankind Space, on demand, the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage.
For all workshops / single bookings / bi-weekly & monthly bookings – 50% of the booking fee will be payable on confirmation of all bookings with the remaining 50% payable 7 days prior to the event taking place.
Cancellation charges prior to the event booking: Up to 28 days – 100% of the total cost will be charged, deposit is non refundable. Notice of cancellation must be made by email and will become effective on the date received by Humankind Studios
Peak room hire time:
Monday - Friday: 7am - 12pm & 6pm - 8.30pm
Saturday - Sunday: 8am - 12pm
During peak room hire times the studio will only be hired out in 4 week cycles. One off bookings will be considered if there is availability but priority will be given to hirers who book the room for the 4 week cycle.
The Hirer needs to give 30 days notice in writing to Humankind Studios to vacate the room.
Payment from Humankind to Hirer
If the Hirer has chosen for class booking fees (from client) to be paid directly to Mindbody via Humankind website or Mindbody App. Humankind will pay these booking fees to the hirer on the last day of the month for the previous month. 1.99% plus 20p will be deducted from each client transaction for card and administration fees
Humankind Studios reserves the right to cancel a booking if the holding of the event is prevented by circumstances beyond the control of Humankind Studios. Humankind Studios does not accept any liability for losses incurred due to the cancellation of an event.
